THE BEST BRUNCH IN LONDON

London, I love you but I have to admit, stumbling upon a good brunch here is harder than I first anticipated. Though have no fear fellow breakfast and coffee enthusiasts, because I’ve taken one for the team and trawled London’s streets eating all the smashed avocado a girl could wish for to find you the the best brunches that London has to offer. You’re welcome.

Farmgirl

Notting Hill

OK so despite the fact that you may not be able to get bacon here (trust me, I asked), Farmgirl serves up some pretty delicious food and coffee. I mean, how many times can you say your chai latte was decorated with a picture of a French bulldog made of sprinkled cinnamon? True story, try it yourself if you don’t believe me.

Brew

Clapham Junction & Wimbledon Village

Australian and Kiwi owned, Brew, brings a bit of the Down Under brunch that we know and love to the Northern hemisphere. With a menu that includes all the avocado (and vegemite) that a girl or guy could dream of, you can’t go wrong.

Friends of Ours

Shoreditch

Of all the places I’ve mentioned on this list, this is BY FAR my favourite of the lot. I mean, would you look at this picture? These courgette, quinoa and roasted corn fritters are to die for and that’s only the tip of the iceberg on their innovative menu.

Brickwood

Clapham Common

You know the brunch is going to be good when there’s a line that stretches out the door on a Sunday morning; trust me, it’s worth the wait. The toastie and smashed avocado options are endless and if you’re just in the mood for a snack, check out their famous banana bread, delish!

Chairs and Coffee

Fulham

With fabulous coffee and a super simple menu which includes smashed avocado on toast in a variety of ways (with chilli, feta or chorizo for example) you can’t go past this quaint, underrated cafe.

Vinoteca

Kings Cross

If this picture doesn’t get your mouth watering, I don’t know what will. I mean, just look at it! Bacon, eggs, avocado, coffee, bacon, bread, bacon. Located in the super central (and now quite trendy) Kings Cross, Vinoteca is a force to be reckoned with in the London brunch scene.

So there you have it! Do you have any favourite brunch spots in London that I haven’t mentioned here? I’m always looking for new places to get fat at so let me know in the comments below what yours are!

Until next time,

Katie x
